Kabuto is an extreme example of insectile mutation: ugly by pretty much every standard, covered in thick armor plates, and deviated from the human form so far that he’s barely recognizable as anything but a big bug. He typically wears hand-forged armor and carries a shield made from a massive creature’s shell.
